5. Surveillance or Law Enforcement

 Just about anywhere you visit today will have some sort of surveillance cameras. Now you may look at this as an invasion of privacy, but I look at as a way to look at some pretty funny videos. Growing up I always watched AVF (America's Funniest Home Videos) where you would just see some compilations of people's fails around the country. People most of the time never really intend to have a fail on camera, but they I guess just get lucky enough to catch something hilarious on camera. 

If the people who made America's Funniest Home Videos got lucky well people with doorbell cameras got extremely lucky with some of the hilarious videos you can find on the internet. There are countless moments you can find on your doorbell cams that are all really used for just security purposes. The funny moments you can find on doorbell cams are really just a side purpose for getting these doorbell surveillance cams. 

These moments happen all the time around us and they probably make the camera owner's day after they get to watch them and post them for views. Luckily for me I have not made myself look like a complete fool on one of my neighbors cameras before, or at least I do not know if I have or not, but someone quite close to me has kind of had a funny moment on our surveillance camera. That person was my mom at four in the morning after bringing my sister back from the emergency room. 

So basically if you are not able to tell what exactly happened there, my mom was bringing my sister back from the emergency room at like four in the morning. While walking towards the front door in our carport, my mom kind of sort of kit my dad's truck mirror in our dark carport. It was safe to say that my mom was not thinking straight with where she needed to walk and was probably only wanting to get back into bed. 

While the original objective for surveillance cameras and doorbell cams were to help keep your house safe from people trying to break in, this little side aspect really does make me want to get a doorbell cam for myself to go along with my security purposes. I would love to come to a safe home after a long day of work and get to possibly see some people making fools of themselves on my surveillance camera. That would make me feel like a kid again watching America's Funniest Home Videos.
