7. Binge Watching

When you think of binge watching you probably think of when you just sit in front of the television all day watching your favorite show over and over and over again. Well that is basically the gist of what will be written in this blog. The show that will be the main focus for the next 400 words or so will be what I consider the best show of all-time, The Office. 

When Did I Start To Binge Watch The Office?

When I started binge watching The Office I was not at my best of times since I was actually grounded for multiple months back in 2019. I know what you're thinking,"Jonathan is just too good to ever be grounded", but yes it is true. Anyways, I started watching The Office in my room through my dad's recordings on our DirectTV stuff and I eventually watched the entire show about three times in those few months. That clearly was not the last time I have watched the show since I continuously make joke references to the show like, "That's what she said", "The KGB waits for no one", and many more that take a whole lot more context clues. 

Who Got Me Into The Show?

If you did not read my last paragraph, my dad was actually the one who kept wanting me to watch the show with him. I have always heard of The Office and its "stupid humor" so I would never believe that I would enjoy it no matter how many times my father told me I would. Eventually I caved and watched it on Netflix and wouldn't ya know, it clicked. There was drama, love, suspense, and the amazing jokes that still carry a legacy on to this day. I am most certainly not the only person in the world that makes reference to the show. People all across the world are still talking about The Office. There is plenty of merchandise out there too. Some people just wear the merch because they want to look stylish, but some people like me wear it cause it is a great conversation starter. When people compliment my 'Dunder Mifflin' shirt, I instantly know that they are also a huge fan of the show. I am not as crazy as some, but I myself have multiple items now because of my dad begging me to watch the show.

Watch More Than The First Season!!!

A VERY COMMON answer I will get after asking if someone has seen The Office is, "I watched the first few episodes and never really got into it." It is a very common mistake of people to just watch the first season and not like the entire show. It's very understandable too since the first season is definitely the most unbearable because of how short it is and also because it is basically the same as The Office (UK). I will then tell them the same thing every time, "You have to watch at least the second season to tell me you don't like the show." Most will still not enjoy it and that's okay, but quite a few have come back and started using jokes from the show.

Conclusion

This has pretty much been my way of telling you, the readers, to start watching The Office if you haven't. It may not be your favorite, but I bet you will still enjoy it.
