9. Classmate Blog Critique

The Classmate Blog Critique was introduced to me last semester in the fall during my Reporting and Writing course. This blog topic may be the one that makes me the most uncomfortable since no matter how good I feel about my own website I know it isn't perfect, so that fact made me feel like I would be really nervous to critique others work. Luckily for me, there won't be hardly any negatives due to the classmates I chose to critique for this blog. 

I was thinking on who to critique and Raushaun made it easy for when he did a critique over my website, and the other website to be critiqued in this writing is going to be Haylee's website since we both have similarish looks. 

To begin with Raushaun, his website is very clean right off the bat when you open it up in the browser. You open up the page and suddenly feel the urge to go bowling, possibly even at Holiday Bowl on State Line. That urge possibly comes from the bowling ball facing the lane with pins at the end...possibly. So scrolling through his projects you can notice a few of the lead pictures for his blogs like a coffee mug saying "Just one more episode" or it might be the Global Trends post with the phone and background saying "Doordash". The coffee mug with the saying "Just one more episode" was Raushaun's blog over Binge Watching. He brought up shows that were well known which caught some people's (me) attention and then introduced some other shows that were not as big time as others. Raushaun definitely had some great presentations, and I definitely enjoyed reading his review over my blog.

Now for Haylee. I am easily not the only one in this class that is doing a critique over Haylee's website since it is so aesthetically pleasing from top to bottom. I would be a liar if I said her website did not inspire me to start using the Canva made blog titles for my own websites. There is and isn't much to say about Haylee's blogs since there are so well researched through and through. This critique probably sounds like a broken record since I am sure everyone in this classroom would say how good Haylee puts her website together. Assignments 1-9 are all incredible topics, especially her Product Review and Binge Watching. The Product Review really caught my attention since I have been wanting an Apple Watch for so long. Her blog just made my want for the watch even worse, so that might be the worst thing about her blog. The Binge Watching was just as great especially when my ears heard her talking about Stranger Things (probably my favorite Netflix show). Not only did she bring up Stranger Things, but also The Mandalorian. A show that I went on and on about in my Programming Trends. 

These two classmates of mine are two of the most interesting presenters that I have seen in awhile. They both have caught my attention multiple times to a point where I am all ears nearly every time they present.
